Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. The Service is not offered to children.

2. The Service

GLJET Card lets users create, edit, install, and share a public digital card with contact, professional, image, activity, and social-link information in supported languages.

The Service is currently provided free of charge, including platform updates. Free availability is not a promise that every feature will always remain unchanged or available.

3. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate information, keep it current, protect your password and email account, and notify GLJET of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account except to the extent caused by GLJET.

We may require email verification and may refuse, suspend, or remove duplicate, fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful accounts.

4. Public cards and user content

Information placed on a card is public to people who access or discover its link. You decide what to publish and are responsible for obtaining all rights and consents needed for names, images, brands, locations, contact details, claims, and links.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant GLJET a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical formatting, transmit, display, and distribute your content solely to operate, secure, improve, and promote the requested Service. This license ends when content is deleted, subject to backups, legal retention, and copies made by others.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate law, intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, consumer-protection, or other rights.
• Impersonate, deceive, defraud, harass, threaten, exploit, or discriminate against others.
• Publish unlawful, defamatory, obscene, sexually exploitative, hateful, violent, malware, phishing, spam, or misleading content.
• Collect or publish another person’s sensitive or contact information without authorization.
• Probe security, bypass access controls, overload systems, scrape at scale, reverse engineer where prohibited, or interfere with the Service.
• Use the Service for activities involving children or create an account if under 18.

6. Sharing and third parties

Recipients may save vCards, copy information, take screenshots, or share links. GLJET cannot control third-party copies or conduct.

The Service may link to or use Firebase/Google, email providers, QR services, maps, social networks, and external websites. Their terms and privacy practices apply to their services. GLJET is not responsible for third-party content or availability.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, software, design, GLJET name, logos, and non-user content are owned by or licensed to GLJET and protected by law. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the Service under these Terms.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact gljet@gljet.com with identification of the work, the content and URL, your contact details, a good-faith statement, and confirmation that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

8. Service changes, availability, and updates

We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features; perform maintenance; impose reasonable technical limits; or update software and PWA caches. We will provide notice of material changes when reasonably required.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanent availability, preservation of every copy, or compatibility with every device. Keep independent copies of important content.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. GLJET may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for breach, risk, abuse, legal requirements, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation.

Upon termination, the right to use the authenticated Service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, disputes, and retained legal records—remain effective.

10. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” GLJET DISCLAIMS EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, AND RESULTS.

GLJET DOES NOT VERIFY USER CONTENT, PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, BUSINESS CLAIMS, CONTACT INFORMATION, OR THIRD-PARTY LINKS. YOU USE AND SHARE CARDS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GLJET AND ITS AFFILIATES, PERSONNEL, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES; OR THIRD-PARTY CONDUCT.

GLJET’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF US$100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID GLJET FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they apply only to the extent permitted.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GLJET and its affiliates, personnel, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person’s rights. GLJET may control the defense of a covered matter.

13. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise, state and federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms waives non-waivable consumer rights or your right to bring an eligible matter in small claims court.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes, we may provide notice and require renewed acceptance. Continued authenticated use after the effective date, where legally permitted, constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and request account deletion.

15. General terms and contact

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent and the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or agreement without consent; GLJET may transfer them as part of a reorganization or Service transfer.
